King of the South: T.I.

In the rap world a hustler is somebody who uses his street smarts to rake in big bucks. If that means dealing drugs or weapons, and other activities generally frowned upon by law enforcement officials, so be it. The self-described “King of the South,” Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., better known by his stage name T.I., is a rap artist, film and music producer, actor and author. He is also the founder and co-chief executive officer (CEO) of Grand Hustle Records. T.I. exudes that country swagger and confidence that makes you want to pay attention to what he has to say. T.I. has also had successful acting career, starring in the films Takers, American Gangster, and ATL. T.I. has been in a relationship with former Xscape member Tameka “Tiny” Cottle since 2001.  T.I.  has served two stints in county jail, twice for probation violations and a federal prison bid for a U.S. federal weapons charge. In 2010, shortly after his release from a halfway house, Harris was sent back to prison for 10 months after police discovered a cache of ecstasy, codeine and pot in his vehicle following a traffic stop.
